Medlock Studios is led by founder and Chief Sound Designer John Morgan, an experienced audio professional with over 10 years’ experience working across London and Manchester for some of the industry’s most recognised studios and brands.

After developing his craft in Manchester and refining it within leading London studio environments (Gramercy Park Studios, Metropolis, Global), John established Medlock Studios to offer a complete range of professional audio post-production remote services. Medlock combines creative flexibility with robust technical standards, supporting projects of all scales.

Now based back in Manchester, Medlock Studios delivers remote services with the expertise and workflow of a top-tier London facility. For larger-scale productions, the studio has the resources and industry relationships in place to schedule, book, and manage complex audio requirements. Medlock works closely with a trusted network of third-party studios, enabling delivery across all broadcast and platform specifications.

John is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with voice talent, producers, directors, and creative teams to create focused, productive, and enjoyable studio sessions. With extensive experience operating under tight deadlines for major clients, efficiency is always prioritised, without ever compromising on quality. Clear communication, fun and efficient collaboration and strong creative alignment are central to this process.
